ADVANTAGES FOR YOU AND YOUR DOG
Exercise:
A tired dog is a well behaved dog! Adequate daily exercise is necessary for the mental and emotional well being of your dog.
Dr. Nicholas Dodman from Tufts University says:
“During exercise, a brain chemical called Serotonin is released which is a “feel good” chemical that has a mood elevating and mood stabilizing effect. 20-30 minutes of cardiovascular-type exercise (running) is the bare minimum every day.
Twice a day is better!”
If you don’t have time to exercise your dog, we will do it for you in the comfort and safety of our dog daycare! We will ensure your dog gets the appropriate exercise and mental stimulation needed.
Trained professionals:
Ensure the safety and well being of your dog while in our care. Fido Freedom employees receive extensive training relating to pack behavior, dog play safety, proper leash handling, and are certified in Canine First Aid.
Separate play areas:
We can accommodate both large and small breeds, as well as all ages of dogs. Some dogs, particularly those over the age of 2, may prefer to socialize with smaller groups of dogs. Younger dogs from 6 months to 2 years prefer the fun of playing with other young exuberant dogs. Whatever your dog’s personality, we have the play group for them. We have three separate fenced play areas inside of our facility plus an additional outdoor yard. This allows us to place your dog within a small group that is best suited to his or her personality. Dogs do best in smaller groups of like personalities.
Puppy socializing:
Our dog daycare is a great way to properly socialize your puppy. Our trained employees and certified dog trainers will supervise appropriate play between your puppy and other dogs, to ensure they always have a positive experience when interacting with other dogs.
3,500 square foot indoor facility:
Our indoor facility is equipped with a rubber floor for the comfort and safety of your pet. The facility is large enough for playing ball, practicing on our agility course, or just hanging around with other dogs. We also have an outdoor fenced yard area where they can romp in a kiddy pool in the summer or play in the snow in the winter. We have a “nap” room where dogs can take a break if needed.
Minimizing Separation Anxiety:
Separation anxiety can be reduced through exercise and will help break up the boredom for the dog when he or she is left alone.
TLC and basic manners training:
Most importantly, your pet receives love and personal attention as well as basic manners training, while in our care.
